Dave Gets 2nd!

We always knew there were smarts in there somewhere.  I don’t know if Dave has decided to go or not, yet.

The Honors Council reviewed all of the Honors Projects and selected yours as second best—congratulations!  The win gets you a $50 Borders gift card and an opportunity to present it at the State Honors Conference in Kennesaw Feb. 22-23.  Let me know if you’d be interested in presenting since we’ll need to get a proposal together.  The top three projects will all be invited to present.  It’s a great opportunity because you get to present at a scholarly conference (which you can put on your record), yet the environment is very student-friendly.  I can tell you more in person but here is the link to the conference http://www.maconstate.edu/GCHC/info.aspx.  Of course, all expenses will be paid by the Honors Program.
Let me know what you’d like to do.  And again, congratulations!
P.S.  You can pick up your gift card from me after today.
